At OBS, we provide end-to-end design and engineering support for projects across the energy, resources and industrial sectors. From early concept through to manufacturing, delivery and commissioning, we manage the entire process to ensure every solution is fit-for-purpose, compliant, and delivered with confidence.

Our team supports projects ranging from wellsite equipment and pressure control systems through to pump skids, dewatering systems and bespoke engineered assemblies, acting as a single point of accountability from start to finish.

End-to-End Project Capability

We don’t just supply equipment- we design, engineer and deliver complete solutions.

Projects typically start with concept development and feasibility, where we work closely with clients to define requirements for items such as diverter systems, surface well control equipment, flow control packages or pump skids. From there, we progress through detailed design, engineering review and manufacturing, before coordinating delivery and site support.

This approach allows us to manage complex scopes including integrated wellsite packages, custom pipework assemblies, skid-mounted systems and structural support frames, all delivered under a single project framework.

Design & Drafting

Our drafting capability supports the full design lifecycle and allows us to produce detailed technical drawings for both standalone equipment and complete systems.

This includes general arrangement drawings for pump and pressure control skids, fabrication drawings for pipework and spool assemblies, P&IDs for fluid handling systems, and installation drawings for wellsite and dewatering equipment. Designs are developed with a strong focus on practicality. We consider transport, installation, operation and ongoing maintenance.

Engineering & Compliance

We work with experienced engineers to ensure all equipment is engineered to suit the intended application and operating environment.

This includes engineering support for pressure-containing equipment such as choke manifolds, flow iron and isolation spools, as well as structural engineering for skids, lifting frames and support structures. Materials selection, pressure ratings, load cases and interface requirements are reviewed to ensure equipment meets relevant Australian and international standards where required.

Our goal is to deliver solutions that are robust, compliant and operationally efficient, without unnecessary over-engineering.

Manufacturing & Quality Control

Once designs are approved, we manage the manufacturing process from start to finish, working with trusted local and international manufacturers.

We remain closely involved during production of equipment such as pump skids, pipework assemblies, diverter systems, structural frames and custom wellsite tooling, ensuring specifications are followed and quality expectations are met. Where required, we coordinate inspections, testing and documentation to support project and client requirements.

Delivery & Project Support

Our involvement extends beyond manufacturing. We coordinate logistics, delivery and project support to ensure equipment arrives on site ready for installation.

This includes managing transport for skid-mounted systems, wellsite equipment and large fabricated assemblies, as well as supporting commissioning and integration with existing site infrastructure where required.
