GPR Blanking Plug

Giant Oil Tools Model GPR Blanking Plugs are ran and locked in flow control tools with the appropriate GR profile, (comparable to Halliburton's R® Nipple Profile) to hold differential pressure from above and below. These tools can include Safety Valves, Landing Nipples, Sliding Sleeves and On-Off connector Slick Joints.

The Model GPR Blanking Plug Assembly consists of a Lock Mandrel, Equalizing Prong Assembly and Equalizing Housing. 

The Lock Mandrel with Equalising Housing attached may be landed and locked into the corresponding profile in the tubing string. The Prong Assembly is set in the bore of the Equalising Housing on a separate wireline trip. The fish neck on the prong extends above the top of the Lock Mandrel to facilitate equalising and retrieving if debris should settle on the Blanking Plug assembly.
