G1-X 10K Mechanical Set Retrievable Packer
Giant Oil Tools Model G1-X 10K Mechanical Set Retrievable Packer is a versatile packer that can be used in any production application. This packer is suitable for production, treating, testing, or injection applications is pumping or flowing wells. The packer can be set and landed in tension or compression, depending on well conditions and required applications.
A large internal by-pass reduces swabbing when running and retrieving. The by-pass closes when the packer is set and opens prior to releasing the upper slips while retrieving to allow for pressure equalisation.
The standard G1-X Packer is designed for pressures up to 10,000 psi (unless otherwise specified). The packer can be configured in a shear pinned preset position for wireline setting.
