Giant Oil Tools Model AS-3 Packer is a single grip packer with no upper hold-down for use where no differential pressure from below is present.

The packer is set with a 1/4 turn rotation at the packer and compression. It features a large by-pass area to prevent swabbing when running or retrieving.

The AS-3 packer is ideal for swab testing or as the lower packer in conjunction with an upper compression set packer (like a Snapset type).
